My name is Jen Hatcher and I’m the very proud owner of Maven & Co Collective in Downtown Pleasanton.
Balayage is my biggest passion, which is no secret. I truly love what I do and feel so lucky to love coming to work every day in this industry for the last 14 years.
Leading our incredible team at Maven & Co. Collective is a true privilege. Our team of stylists is one of a kind- the love and support for each other are unmatched, and the community we’ve grown is such a beautiful thing to be a part of!
Perfecting my craft is a huge way that I walk the walk for my team. In 2023, I proudly earned the L’Oreal French Balayage Certification, becoming one of the first certified stylists in California to earn this accolade. This five month certification was evaluated by globally recognized balayage stylists in this industry, and this title is one of my biggest accomplishments within my career.
When I’m not at the salon, I’m at home (or at a kids’ sports event) with my sweet babies and my Mr. Maven. Our house is always going a mile a minute, but I am so honored to have these four littles to love on- walking the walk for them is all the why I need.
I can’t wait to spoil you soon- cheers to happy hair!

What is balayage?
This highlighting technique is custom placed dimension that is created by "sweeping" or painting the product onto the surface of hair. This provides a beautiful blended result, opposite of the aesthetic of traditional foil techniques, where the highlights start right at the base. If you're looking for a more lived-in look for your hair color, this is exactly what you've been looking for!
With high impact results and little need for frequent upkeep, this is a go-to for anyone looking for a low maintenance WOW factor to make them look their best.

Thursday & Friday: 8am - 6pm
In order to continue to provide the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I require 48 hours' notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, a $25 per service cancelled fee does apply and will be due before a new appointment is scheduled.
